Thanks to this, they are products resistant to dirt, moisture and abrasion, and over time they neither discolour nor peel off. You can use them not only to decorate the interior in any style, but also to organize the space. However, our expectations will only be met if we choose the wallpaper properly. Let's check what types we can choose from?

Modern wallpapers and their types available on the market

  • Paper. They are produced in multi-layer paper that can be refined or printed. Compared to other types of wallpaper, they are less resistant and should therefore be used in less frequently used rooms.

  • Vinyl. They consist of two layers - paper and plastic-coated. This is foamed polyvinyl chloride, used in the form of a paste or thin foil. Vinyl wallpapers gain additional protection thanks to this layer and are resistant to moisture, dirt and mechanical damage. They include completely washable wallpapers. They are soft, flexible and have slightly convex decorations.

  • Fleeceline. The top layer of these wallpapers is fleece, i.e. non-woven fabric made of synthetic fibers (polypropylene and polyethersulfone), covered with a thermoplastic mass. They are perfect for covering uneven walls and plaster defects. The wallpaper does not need to be softened before application, and if necessary, it can be removed dry without fear of residue.

  • Relief. They have a three-dimensional pattern on their surface and are most often used in the kitchen and in rooms particularly exposed to dirt. This is due to the fact that they are exceptionally resistant to dirt and moisture.

  • Glass. These are wallpapers made of glass fibers obtained in chemical processes from water glass. They are covered with a special substance that protects against water absorption. They can be used on any surface, including metal and wood. These are the most durable and resistant wallpapers among all available ones. They are non-flammable, resistant to mechanical damage and abrasion, as well as dirt and water. Similarly to non-woven wallpapers - glass fiber wallpapers also eliminate unevenness of the wall surface. They are perfect for public and utility rooms and treatment rooms.

  • Photo wallpapers. These are wallpapers with a printed photograph. They come in many different patterns and motifs. They are made on natural canvas, self-adhesive plastic, paper, paper coated with non-woven or polyvinyl chloride, as well as paper coated with latex, which is resistant to abrasion and moisture. The material determines the method of application. Photo wallpapers can have a glossy or matte finish. Among them, we distinguish modern 3D wallpapers, made on coated paper using digital printing techniques.
